The Official 60th Anniversary Logo

Design Concept & Meaning:

The logo incorporates elements from the Chinese characters 「銘」 (Ming) and 「基」 (Kei). In 「銘」, the left-falling stroke（丿）and the mouth radical（口）are creatively combined to form the Arabic numeral 6, while the cross-shaped element in 「基」is adapted to form the Chinese numeral 十. Together, ‘6十’ represents the school’s 60th anniversary. The combination of an Arabic numeral and a Chinese numeral also reflects the cultural diversity of the school.

The brown elements represent CCCMKC, while the numeral 6 and the character 十 feature patterns inspired by the CCCMKC school tie. These details reinforce the school’s identity and foster a strong sense of belonging among its teachers and students.

The character 十 also symbolises the Cross of Christ. In addition, 「銘」incorporates the form of a shepherd’s crook, adding a further Christian dimension to the design and echoing the exhortation to ‘Remember Christ’.

Finally, the logo adopts a modern and dynamic style in keeping with the theme of the school’s 60th anniversary. It represents the school’s commitment to innovation and its determination to move confidently towards a bright future.
